General Rules and Conditions

 

1. When Booking:

It is required to send a security deposit of 30% of the total cost of all nights booked. In peak season, it is required to send a security deposit of 100% of the total cost of all nights booked. In the case that you wish to cancel, your security deposit will not be refunded. If the deposit has not been sent, you are legally obliged to pay anyways. You may refer to the contractual conditions for hotels in the province of Varese. In the case of a late arrival, early departure, or cancellation you will be required to pay the total amount covering the entire period of your reservation.

2. Upon Arrival:

You must present your documents (which will be returned after filling out paperwork). You are required to pay the full balance of your reservation, in addition to the costs of any lunches and/or dinners you request during your stay. If any additional costs accumulate during your stay, such as service charges, extra drinks or any other requests, you will be required to pay the extra costs before departure. ** Please note: credit cards are not accepted.

3. Accommodation:

€ 30.00 per person for a room with a private bathroom. The room price includes a simple self-serve breakfast (hot drinks, such as coffee can be purchased for € 0.50 each). In the case that only one person will occupy the room, they must pay an additional € 10 - € 30 per night.

4. Lunch/Dinner for Overnight Guests:

€ 15.00 per person. Includes: 1^st plate (pasta or rice), 2^nd plate (egg or meat or cheese) with vegetables, fruit, and bread, ¼ liter of wine, ½ liter of water, and coffee. *Extra costs: special requests, dessert, extra drinks, digestive, etc...

5. Restaurant Menu for Lunch/Dinner:

Must be booked separately. Price ranges from €20.00 to €30.00 per person.

 

Fixed Menu

€20.00 includes: 1^st plate (pasta/rice), 2^nd plate (meat with vegetables), dessert, ¼ liter of wine, ½ liter of water, coffee, and homemade bread.

€30.00 includes: Large, assorted appetizer dish made with a variety of our home-made products, 1^st plate (pasta/rice), 2^nd plate (meat with vegetables), dessert, ¼ liter of wine, ½ liter of water, coffee, and homemade bread.

*Extra costs: special requests, extra drinks, digestive, etc...

6. EXTRA Costs for Room:

€3.00 – Set of towels (2 towels) upon request

€5.00 – Room clean, upon request (room is cleaned every 2 nights)

€1.50 – Service charge for lunch/dinner placemat change (upon request)

€2.00 – Mineral Water or Sparkling Water, per bottle

€6.00 – per liter of house wine (white or red)

*Upon request, individual bottles of wine are available at a higher price.

€10.00 – Children's bed (up to 3 years old/20 kilos) Upon request

€5.00 - €13.00 per night for a Dog or Cat. (Animals are not permitted on the beds nor to be left alone at any time!)

Each room is equipped with central heating at a standard temperature. In the case of special requests or needs, additional charges will apply.

** In July & August: Minimum 2 night stay if you book more than 1 week in advance. (You must pay for 2 nights, even if you only stay for one). One night reservations are available if you book within the week of your desired stay.

7. Reduced Prices:

Child Accomodation per night:

One child: Free if sharing the bed with parents or if a bed is brought from home.

Two Children: €15.00 per child to share one bed.

Child Meal Price:

Children under 10 years: reduced price from 20% - 50% for a children's portion fixed menu.

*Extra charges apply for special requests.

 

8. GENERAL RULES:

• Guests are responsible for their assigned room, including furniture and ornaments, and are asked to report any damage. If you find any damages upon arriving, please let us know and we will repair it as soon as possible. If you fail to report damages or missing items, you will be billed for the expenses incurred to replace or repair the unreported items. Rooms will be inspected upon departure.

• In compliance with the law, smoking is prohibited and rooms are equipped with smoke detectors.

• Out of respect for all, food or drinks (except water) are not permitted in the rooms. You may use the breakfast dining room and small refrigerator if you wish.

• Please do not kill any insects on the walls or ceilings or you will be charged.

• If no prior arrangements are made, guests are to arrive no earlier than 16:30 and the room must be vacated on the day of departure no later than 10:30 A.M.

• Please turn off the taps, the lights and other electrical appliances when they are not needed.

• Access to the rooms is only permitted to hotel guests. Those who are not guests are not permitted inside the rooms.

• Flammable or explosive substances, or substances with strong or unpleasant odors are not permitted in the rooms unless previous permission from the landlord is obtained.

• Upon departure, please lock and close the door and return the key to the reception desk. The room key is exclusive property of the hotel, if it is not returned (or lost) it will result in a charge of €10.00.

• Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 09:00. Please be respectful of the other guests and behave appropriately.

• Parents are responsible for their children, and the manager reserves the right to remove any unwanted or disrepectful guests.

• In the case you would like lunch or dinner during your stay, you must request lunch before 10:00 a.m. and dinner before 16:00.
